Who We Are

Suitcase Shakespeare has been many years in the making. After performing Shakespeare with other companies in bars, on lawns, in parks, (and very occasionally on actual stages), we are fulfilling our dream of creating a company by actors, for actors, to perform Shakespeare in nontraditional settings. Our performances will focus on the acting and catering the performances to the specific spaces, while keeping sets, costumes, and props at a minimum. All design elements for each show will fit into one suitcase, allowing us to enjoy the fun of touring without throwing our backs out loading in and out sets for every performance.
Shows will be 90 minutes and will include the audience. We want you to yell, laugh, heckle, and have as great of a time watching as we are performing!
